Newspaper project.........

On Wednesday 14th June 2006, 24 children from the WOW's Network met for lunch at 12 o'clock noon at Hope Training Suite. The children, all from Year 5 classes were gathered to form the WOW's Newspaper Editorial Group. After this initial meeting 2 children from each school were charged with the responsibility of returning to their respective schools and creating their own school team consisting of journalists and photographers. These teams will be responsible for covering news worthy school events. In the Autumn term the Editorial Team will meet again, this time at St. James, Orrell to produce the first WOW's Pupil edition fully driven by the children. All facilities will be available and support offered (if required), so we look forward to the first exciting issue.
