WOWS Schools Cluster

WOWS (Wigan, Orrell, Worsley Mesnes Schools)has been an established Learning Network for the past four years, consisting of and serving the schools of the area. It has changed, grown and adapted over this time, to its present form.

"Learning together, learning from each other, and, no one of us is as smart as all of us" is the philosophy of our learning network.

Through this network of schools we have acheived collaboration between heads, deputies, subject leaders, year group teachers, support staff and pupils.

This has enabled us to provide shared learning opportunities for over 350 staff and over 3000 pupils. This collaboration has resulted in a vast sharing of expertise and resources across the full range and breadth of the school curriculum.
